The Kiwanis Club of RHE and individual members have provided financial support to the local technology center, Palos Verdes on the Net (PVNet), in support of their project to supply face shields, at no cost, to local law enforcement, fire departments and health providers.
Medical workers and first responders need our help now more than ever. PVNet volunteers are working around the clock to 3D print face shields for all of the health care workers and other essential service individuals that are combating this virus on the frontlines.
Their goal is to ramp up from their present rate of 200 face shields per week to 1000 to 1500 face shields per week. The limiting factor is funding for material. PVNet has established a GoFundMe page to seek donations.
